What training do Stratus Clean Master Franchisees receive?

Stratus Clean Master Franchisees complete a comprehensive onboarding program that includes pre-opening training, one week at our corporate headquarters, and two weeks of on-site training in your own territory, all guided by a dedicated onboarding coach. Training covers marketing, sales, accounting, operations, and product management, so you learn every part of running the business, not just the basics.

Do I need commercial cleaning experience to become a Master Franchisee?

No. No prior cleaning experience is required, and Master Franchisees don't do any cleaning themselves. This is an executive-style business: your role is to award unit franchises, secure commercial cleaning contracts, and support the unit franchisees who perform the work. Successful masters come from diverse backgrounds including education, sales, insurance, engineering, and retail. Stratus teaches you the how; you bring the leadership and people skills.

How long does Master Franchisee training take?

Initial training runs about three weeks: one week at Stratus Clean's corporate headquarters followed by two weeks of hands-on training on-site in your territory, preceded by pre-opening training. Support doesn't stop there. Your dedicated onboarding coach and the wider Stratus system continue working with you as your territory grows.

What ongoing support does Stratus Clean provide after launch?

After launch, Master Franchisees receive ongoing marketing and operations support, development and sales programs (including a National Accounts program to help win larger contracts), finance and business management support, a national insurance program, and continuous software and technology support through the proprietary StratusConnect app. You also join a collaborative network of 100+ Master Franchisees who share what's working in their territories.

What is the StratusConnect app?

StratusConnect is Stratus Clean's proprietary operations app, included with your franchise. It streamlines the day-to-day management of your territory, helping you run operations efficiently and keep your network of unit franchisees on track, so you can focus on growth rather than administration.
