Early in my career I owned a security agency, where I gained valuable experience in operations, customer service, and leadership. Over time, I became drawn to the idea of business ownership but wanted a proven system and a strong support network to reduce risk. That’s what led me to franchising — it offered the chance to build something of my own while leveraging an established brand, training, and proven processes. I’ve always enjoyed helping others and building teams, so franchising felt like a natural fit. It allows me to focus on growth, customer relationships, and creating opportunities for others rather than reinventing the wheel from scratch.

What was the deciding factor in choosing Stratus over other opportunities?

When I started looking into franchise opportunities, I knew I wanted more than just a business — I wanted a partnership with values that aligned with mine. Hitting that milestone within ten months set the bar high and motivates us to keep building on that momentum.

Stratus has shaped both my professional and personal outlook in profound ways. Professionally, it’s given me the tools, training, and confidence to grow one of the fastest-rising territories in company history. Personally, it’s taught me that success isn’t just about numbers — it’s about creating opportunities, building strong relationships, and making a meaningful impact in the community. That combination has completely changed the way I approach both business and life.

What’s one lesson you’ve learned on this journey that you wish you knew earlier?

One lesson I’ve learned is that success comes faster when you focus on building the right team and trusting the system instead of trying to do everything yourself. Empowering others and leaning on the proven process leads to better, more sustainable growth.

When bringing new franchisees into the team, I look for people who are motivated, coachable, and committed to delivering excellent service. Drive and ambition are important, but just as critical is the willingness to follow the proven Stratus system. I also value integrity, reliability, and a genuine desire to build relationships — both with clients and within the team. Those qualities create the foundation for long-term success and ensure that everyone moves forward together.

Who or what has been the biggest source of inspiration in your business journey?

The biggest source of inspiration in my business journey has been a blend of family and the Stratus community. My family motivates me every day — they remind me why I work so hard and keep me grounded. On the professional side, I’m inspired by fellow Stratus owners who have built thriving businesses while staying true to their values. Seeing their success proves what’s possible when you combine passion, perseverance, and a proven system.
